Tracey Newsome

Orthodontic Therapist

After qualifying as a dental nurse in 2010, Tracey joined The Brace Place in 2013 and completed the NEBDN orthodontic nursing qualification. She then went on to study orthodontic therapy at UCLAN, qualifying in June 2018.

She now lives in Skipton with her husband and Jack Russell who keep her busy in her spare time.

Amy De Belder

Dental Nurse

Amy started her career in dentistry at the age of 16. She gained her qualification in dental nursing in 2015 whilst working in a private practice, experiencing all aspects of dentistry before she moved into orthodontics. She joined The Brace Place in 2019 to further her experience in orthodontics; she is currently enhancing her knowledge through studying a post qualification in orthodontic nursing which she will complete in March 2023. You may see Amy for an appointment to have records taken at the start of your treatment or you will find her in surgery assisting with the orthodontic therapist and orthodontist.

In her spare time Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Kennedy Hall

Dental Nurse

Kennedy qualified as a dental nurse in 2014 whilst working at a local NHS practice. After 5 years she decided to go travelling, eventually settling in Sydney for 3 years where she also worked as a dental nurse. On returning to the UK in 2021 she was looking for an opportunity to further her knowledge within dentistry. She is enjoying her role at the Brace Place and learning the orthodontic aspects of nursing.

In her spare time she likes travelling, walking and socialising with friends.

Georgina McArthur

Receptionist

Georgina started as a dental receptionist in 2013 and joined the Brace Place in April 2022. She is the person who attends to all your appointment needs and the first person you see when you arrive at reception.

She lives in the village with her husband and three children.

In her spare time she enjoys socialising with friends and family, indoor climbing and running.
